Abstract One of the efforts to improve successful in handling coastal erosion is develop a protection structure be called as PEGAR, an acronym Pemecah Gelombang Ambang Rendah or Low-Crested Breakwater (hereinafter referred LCB). The use geotextile tubes filled with sand LCB construction has been widely practiced since 2010. LCBs play role breaking waves and dampening their energy before reaching coast. generates rotating current behind which results deposition sediment supplied through crest longshore drift. Subsequent sedimentation processes produce sedimentary deposits forms new shorelines (salient) even tombolo. Through these two supplies, natural filling beach widening can take less than one season.
